Booking Conditions
In order to guarantee your booking, a bank pre-authorisation may be carried out from the booking date until the check-in date. This will correspond to the amount of the first night of your stay at the property.The security deposit will be fully returned to you, provided that no damage has been noted by the property at the time of departure.
Any booking of 4 rooms or more may be subject to special conditions and additional fees.
Secure Transaction
Our website uses some of today’s most advanced internet security technologies. All stages of the booking process are secured using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, the industry standard in this field.Your information is encrypted and protected through server authentication and data stream encryption. The security certificate used is issued by the accredited third-party company USERTrust RSA Certification Authority and is used by the D-EDGE booking system. You can verify the validity of the certificate.
Furthermore, the booking system is hosted in a secure server environment equipped with biometric security, firewalls and other advanced technologies to prevent interference and protect against any intrusion.
Cancellation or Modification of a Service Booking
For Accommodation Services, including room bookings within a property or other types of accommodation, the Client is reminded that they do not have the right of withdrawal provided for in Article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code, in accordance with Article L. 221-28 paragraph 12 of the French Consumer Code, which excludes this right for contracts relating to accommodation services that must be provided on a specific date or during a specific period.For each Service booking, the Specific Conditions specify the cancellation and/or modification terms of the booking.
Bookings with prepayment cannot be modified and/or cancelled. Deposits, meaning sums paid in advance, are non-refundable. In such cases, this will be stated in the Specific Conditions.When permitted by the Specific Conditions:The booking of a Service may be modified or cancelled by clicking on the link at the end of your confirmation email and following the instructions displayed on your screen.
The booking of a Service may be modified or cancelled directly on the Website through the “Modify or cancel a booking” section.
The booking of a Service may be modified or cancelled directly with the property, whose contact details, including telephone number, are specified in the booking confirmation sent by email.In the event that a Service is interrupted by the Client, the full agreed price will be charged. For bookings prepaid before the stay, no refund will be granted.It is recommended to cancel as soon as possible once the reason for cancellation has occurred.
Cancellation Fees
Cancellation fees are non-refundable when a non-cancellable, non-refundable rate has been selected.For all other offers, please refer to the conditions displayed in the booking engine.In the event of a no-show, 100% of the booking will be charged and will not be refundable.In the event of cancellation, if you have paid all or part of the booking online, this amount will be refunded after deduction of the cancellation fees, excluding non-cancellable and non-refundable offers.TaxesRates are displayed including VAT. Tourist tax, government taxes or local taxes may be requested as an additional charge.
Arrival Time / Departure Time
Your room or apartment will be available at reception from the time indicated below.On the day of your departure, you must vacate your room/apartment no later than the time indicated below. Failure to respect this latest departure time may result in the charge of an additional night.
It is recommended to use the “Comments or additional information” field in the booking form to indicate your estimated arrival time, especially in the case of a late arrival.

Consumer Mediator
The Client is informed by Grand Hôtel Richer of the possibility, in the event of a dispute relating to these General Terms and Conditions, to use a conventional mediation procedure or any other alternative dispute resolution method, under the conditions provided for in Title I of Book VI of the French Consumer Code.After contacting the relevant department regarding your commercial disagreement with the property, and in the absence of a satisfactory response within 3 weeks, the Client may refer the matter to the Mediator, whose contact details and referral procedures are available on their website:

Applicable Law for Dispute Resolution
The General Terms and Conditions are governed by French law, without prejudice to any mandatory protective provisions that may apply in the consumer’s country of residence.
